Frequently Asked Questions

We connect you with local suppliers across Cyprus. Below are answers to the most common questions about the booking process, paperwork, and practical details.

How does the booking process work?

You search for your dates and location, compare options from different suppliers, and make a reservation. You pay a booking advance online to secure the vehicle. The balance and any deposit are handled directly with the supplier when you collect the keys. You will receive a voucher by email with all the details and the supplier's contact information.

What do I need to collect the vehicle?

Bring your voucher, a valid driving licence held for the required period, a credit card in the main driver's name for the deposit, and passport or ID. If your licence is not in Latin alphabet, you may need an International Driving Permit depending on the supplier's policy. Check your voucher for specific requirements.

Can I change my booking dates?

Changes depend on the supplier's terms. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify pick-up time, dates, or location. Some suppliers allow free amendments up to a certain point; others may charge a fee. Cancellation and amendment policies are outlined in your confirmation email.

What are the age and licence requirements?

Most suppliers require drivers to be at least 21 years old and to have held a full licence for at least one year. Some vehicle categories have higher minimums, often 25 years and three years of experience. Young driver supplements may apply. Always check the age policy in the vehicle description before booking.

What is the fuel policy?

The standard arrangement is full-to-full: you receive the vehicle with a full tank and return it full. Make sure to refuel at a station like Petrolina or EKO before drop-off, and keep the receipt. Returning the vehicle without refuelling will incur a refuelling charge plus an admin fee from the supplier.

Can I drive to the northern part of the island?

Crossing to the north requires separate insurance purchased at the checkpoint, as standard policies do not cover that area. Not all suppliers permit crossings; check your rental agreement and ask at the desk if this is part of your itinerary. Coverage and procedures vary between companies.

Are there restrictions on where I can drive?

You can drive throughout the Republic of Cyprus. Off-road driving is typically prohibited and will void insurance. Some suppliers restrict access to certain rough mountain tracks or require permission for long ferry trips. The Troodos roads are narrow and winding but paved. Confirm any special routes with your supplier.

What if the flight is delayed?

If you provided your flight number when booking, many airport suppliers will monitor arrivals and adjust the pick-up time. Contact the supplier using the phone number on your voucher as soon as you know about the delay. For significant delays, the next day's rate may apply depending on the company's policy.

Who do I contact if I have an issue during the rental?

For breakdown, accident, or any operational question, call the supplier's emergency number listed in your rental agreement and on the key fob. They handle roadside assistance and vehicle replacement. For billing or voucher queries before or after the rental, reach us at [email protected] or +357 24 819 306.
